NI•TEN JUDO Club
Providing quality judo instruction in the community since 1974
Hello Ni•Ten Judo Members and Friends!
We hope this message finds you healthy and staying safe at home! We have been having a tremendous year thus far with increased attendance in both our membership and competition team, new gear for all of our club members, travel opportunities and beautiful new mats for our club. There is absolutely no doubt we will be back bigger and better than ever. We will continue to grow if we stick together through these tough times. TOUGH TIMES DONT LAST, BUT TOUGH PEOPLE DO.
MEMBERSHIP If you are an annually paying member, we may have a Summer program option for you at no charge (more information down below) If you are currently making monthly membership payments and are now unable to do so, please do not worry. We completely understand and would not expect you to pay if not able. If you are able to follow through with either a monthly payment, or even “pay what you can”, we will humbly accept from all members as this will be beneficial in helping with our clubs ongoing operational costs. If you are able and willing to do so, please contact Sensei Josh to make arrangements. We are truly grateful for all of you.
SUMMER JUDO If life gets back to normal in time for July and August, and if approved by the school, Sensei Josh will extend the regular season into the summer. There will also be daytime Summer Camp option for our members! Summer classes will be at no cost for our annually paid members as a way to accommodate for lost time. As a non-profit organization, we are incapable of providing refunds and this is our way of showing you we care. All members old and new are welcome to join!
NEW JUDO PANTS Can’t seem to get those yellow stains off of the white or blue pants? Let us get you a fresh new pair! To determine the size of the pants, please look at the tag on the pants. It is recommended to order pants the next size up due to shrinkage. Then send an email to email@example.com with these details:
1• Member Name
2• Pant Colour (White or Blue)
3• Pant size (ex: 1/140cm)
GRADINGS & NI•TEN HERO As things continue to change, we are ALWAYS looking for new and interesting ways to keep learning, to stay engaged, to be healthy and STRONG in Judo spirit. We created NI•TEN HERO for this very purpose and also as a way for us to work with our members on achieving their personal goals. Whether it is fitness based, a way to interact, or achieving your next belt level that you have been working so hard for, we will do it together. We have been so impressed with the progress of our students and they deserve to be recognized for their efforts. If completed and accepted by Sensei Josh we will grade our members using the half belt system. This is a fantastic way to maintain standards yet show you how proud we are of you. Some members may be asked to complete more work and newer members may not be graded but we will be here every step of the way to help you. If graded, we will personally deliver your new belt and grading certificate to your door!
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH
THERE IS NO STRONG LIKE JUDO STRONG!
